Crimping Battery Terminal Service

Having good battery terminals is the key to success when you are counting on your generator to come on throughout the year. Our crimp on battery terminal service remove the existing factory or corroded battery terminals. We then add our upgraded Zinc battery terminals and use a hydraulic crimper to attach them to the battery cables giving you the best connection possible. We finish by heat shrinking the connection to finalize a solid connection and deter further corrosion in the future.

Dead batteries make up 50% of all emergency after hours generator failures. Giving your generator the best electrical connection possible lengthens the life of your battery and gives the sensitive electronics in your generator the proper DC Voltage they need to work properly. This will lengthen the life of all electrical components such as your generators computer, battery charger, and voltage regulator. It also gives that nice strong voltage straight to the starter when the unit goes to fire up and voltage to the fuel solenoid to allow fuel to flow when the unit first turns on. Propane Tank Monitor

A critical part of maintaining your generator is making sure there is enough fuel to get you through the unexpected power outages when utility power is lost.  Generac now offers a wireless LP Fuel Level Monitor to measure the amount of LP fuel remaining in your tank.  The Tank Utility app alerts the user for both remaining LP fuel levels and usage reports, offering the ultimate peace of mind.

Coolant Conditioner Additive

Coolant Conditioner Additive should be added to all liquid cooled generators every year. The owner’s manual says to do a complete coolant flush and fill every 2 years. If you add this every year you will never have to do it again.

Coolant conditioner neutralizes the pH of your generator’s coolant, as well as cancels out any built up electrolysis to prevent further corrosion of the cooling system and engine block.

Coolant System Flush and Fill

If it has been over 2 years since your last coolant flush or conditioning service a full flush and fill is recommended by your owner’s manual. We add a cleaner to the system and let it cycle for a period of time to break up all the gunk, corrosion, and particulates in the cooling system and engine block. We then drain it all out and refill it with new coolant. We finish by adding the conditioning treatment to keep the coolant good to last until next year’s treatment.
